Tárcoles's Big Rio ends in Nicoya's gulf on the Ocean Pacific Ocean, offers to the visitor the opportunity to observe American crocodiles (Crocodylae, C. acutus), with more of 4 meters of length also they can observe, iguanas and basilisks in natural environment close to more of hundred twenty species(kinds) differently from resident and migratory, terrestrial and coastal birds. Our tour specially designed for the whole family, as well as for groups of observers of birds, adventurers and naturalists it(he,she) has a duration of two hours on board of our crafts that guarantee his(her,your) total comf. sort and personal safety. Monkey Tour in Damas
Located in the Costarican Central Pacific Coast, Damas Estuary is special Mangrove habitat. Our boats travel through these mangroves with an impressive ecosystem where you can devise at least 3 mangrove species, these represent very important matting and nesting refuge for mammals and reptiles. Also a nice visit to our friends the white faced monkeys that usually make the trip a very unique experience!!!

Winding down rainforest trails we descend towards world famous surfing beach Playa Hermosa before returning to Jaco.
Manuel Antonio Park
The white sand beaches backed by an evergreen forest that grows right up to the high tide line. The principal habitants are primary forest, secondary forest, mangrove swamps, lagoons and beach vegetation. There is quite a varied fauna with 109 species of mammals and 184 of birds. The park includes 12 little isles just off the coast.
This river boasts class 3 rapids all year long, during dry season it also boasts some class 2 rapids. Experience beauty and adrenaline in Naranjo and Saavegre River as a full day of adventure, starting with a journey on a gravel road that winds through the remote backcountry of the Rio Saavegre. We will begin a four-hour guided rafting trip with class II / III / IV rapids. On this trip you will have a chance to enjoy great swimming ponds and see a large variety of birds in dense primary jungle surrounding the river. We will stop at a beautiful river side, have some fruit, and lunch will be served at the end of the trip. Participants must be at least 8 years old. Pick Up Time: 8:00am
Arenal Volcano & Hot Springs
Arenal is what is known as a stratovolcano – a tall, symmetrical volcano that's built upon successive layers of rock, ash and lava. Due to the convergence of oceanic and continental tectonic plates, magma (the molten or partially molten rock that forms beneath earth's surface) rises into Arenal's volcanic chamber and can eventually erupt from its top.

Enjoy the one day experience in the Poás Volcano with his majestic and imposing crater at 2.708 Mts. height, considered the second greatest depression or Caldera of 1.5 Km across and about 300 meters deep. Also enjoy a magnificent Waterfall, La Paz and its beautiful lush gardens and trail. Your lunch you will be a real taste of the Costa Rican typical food. On the road to the park passes quaint villages, coffee plantations, dairy farms and spectacular views, and when finally in the park, we are surrounded by lush, unique vegetation of the cloudy and very humid Forest. Vista Los Sueños Canopy Tour
The adventure starts on a 15 minute ride aboard a special designed tractor. Once you arrive at the top of the mountain you will descend to base camp via a series of zip lines, which include 14 platforms and 12 cables. Total distance of cables 2 miles. The schedules are 8 am, 10 am, 1 pm, 3 pm; pick up will be 30 minutes in advance. The transportation time from Los Sueños Resort to the canopy is 10 minutes per way and the canopy its self takes like 2 hours' time. Price /per person: $65 |
